Pierce graduated from UCD in 2018 with an honour’s degree in Physiotherapy. Prior to studying physiotherapy Pierce graduated from NUI Maynooth with an honour’s degree in Science.

Since graduating from UCD in 2018, Pierce has worked in Our Lady’s Hospice in the areas of Rheumatology and Palliative care. He also worked in Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown and completed rotations in the various areas of Physiotherapy.

Pierce has a keen interest in sports medicine and is currently with Bohemians FC Academy as their head physiotherapist. Pierce also has a keen interest in the rehabilitation of knee injuries especially ACL reconstructions and shoulder conditions. Away from sports medicine, Pierce is a firm believer in exercise prescription for the elderly to keep our older generation fit, active and strong.

Combining his science background and Physiotherapy knowledge, Pierce applies an evidence based approach to his care of clients and strives to enhance his clients self management. Pierce strives to keep up to date with continuous professional development. Away from physio, Pierce is an avid cyclist.
