Betul is a Chartered Physiotherapist registered with CORU and a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). She is dedicated to providing evidence-based, patient-centred physiotherapy focused on pain reduction, functional recovery, and improving quality of life.
With clinical experience in both Ireland and Turkey, Betul has worked in hospital and outpatient settings, developing her experience in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation. Betul graduated with a Batchelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation from Abant Izzet Baysal University, and later completed a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Usküdar University. She is also co-author of a published study examining vibration sense following Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction and meniscus interventions.
Betul treats a range of musculoskeletal conditions including back and neck pain, sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and lymphoedema management, using a combination of manual therapy, dry needling, lymphatic drainage techniques, and tailored exercise programmes.
She has a particular interest in women’s health issues and pelvic pain and dyspareunia (painful intercourse) and has completed additional training in chronic pelvic pain and women’s health. Betul aims to provide a respectful and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable discussing sensitive concerns. Her approach focuses on detailed assessment, education, and personalised exercise-based rehabilitation.
Before moving to Ireland, Betul worked in major hospitals in Turkey, including Medipol Mega Hospital and Medicana Çamlica Hospital, where she treated both inpatients and outpatients with spinal and orthopaedic conditions.
