Ciarán Logue BSc

Ciarán Logue is a dedicated Sports Scientist with a degree in Sports Science and Health from Dublin City University. With extensive hands-on experience supporting intercounty Gaelic football teams, League of Ireland football clubs, and both high-level and recreational runners, Ciarán specialises in evaluating performance metrics and conducting in-depth physiological assessments to drive measurable improvements in athletic performance.

Ciarán Logue is an ISAK Accredited Anthropometrist and a REPS Ireland accredited Personal Trainer, reflecting his commitment to professional standards in sports science and physical training. He plays a key role in delivering the innovative VO₂max and Metabolic Testing service at Somerton Physiotherapy Clinic, providing athletes and active individuals with valuable insights into their aerobic fitness, performance potential, and overall health.

Deeply passionate about exercise physiology and data-driven performance strategies, Ciarán excels in translating complex testing results into clear, practical plans tailored to each individual’s goals. He believes in the transformative power of personalised exercise programs — not just for elite athletes, but for anyone aiming to improve cardiovascular health, optimise training, and enhance long-term wellbeing.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Ciarán remains actively involved in sport. He has a lifelong passion for soccer, Gaelic football, and athletics, and currently plays for St. Kevin’s GAA in County Louth.
