Megan O’Dowd graduated from University College Dublin with an honours degree in physiotherapy. Megan is passionate about female participation in sports and the outdoors. She enjoys helping individuals with chronic conditions, such as osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia, to manage their condition and maximise their quality of life. Megan enjoys continually keeping up to date with new evidence-based practice. She is currently participating in research investigating the role of physiotherapy and exercise in individuals with chronic fatigue syndrome. Megan is a certified Stott Pilates Instructor and teaches daily Pilates classes at our clinic. Through her Pilates teaching, she hopes to enable others of all ages and fitness levels to get moving in a comfortable environment.

Outside of physiotherapy, Megan loves the sea and spending time in nature: hiking, cycling and doing watersports. She loves sailing and this summer sailed from Donegal to Kerry. She is a keelboat and dinghy sailing instructor and has instructed in Dublin, Sligo, the US and Spain. She is also a strong swimmer and certified lifeguard.
